This traditional apple kugel is packed with that yummy apple flavor in every bite. If you have one available, use the grating attachment on the food processor, so you can quickly grate the apples to create this standout apple kugel!
8 Granny Smith apples, coarsely grated
10 tablespoons sugar
8 eggs
8 tablespoons Gefen Potato Starch
8 tablespoons oil (or chicken fat)
pinch of Haddar Salt
Combine all ingredients by hand. Pour into a greased 8×10-inch baking pan.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for one and a half to two hours. Can also be cooked on the stove over low heat in a five-quart casserole for 30 minutes, inverted, and cooked an additional 30 minutes.
