A sweet, tangy, and refreshing summer treat.
1 fresh pineapple, top, bottom, and skin removed
1/4 cup Haddar Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
3 tablespoons Gefen Maple Syrup
pareve ice cream (optional)
whipped cream (optional)
Gefen Cinnamon (optional)
Preheat grill.
Cut pineapple into 1/2-to-3/4-inch round slices.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
Place a dollop of brown sugar mixture on each pineapple slice and brush evenly on both sides.
Place on grill and cook for four to six minutes per side or pineapple is heated through, rotating to get pretty grill marks.
Transfer to a platter and serve topped with pareve ice cream, whipped cream, and cinnamon.
