Diets Making your own chips is a fun activity for the kids. You can stack them up on your burger or just munch them as a great snack. Whatever the case, just keep loading them on the grill—they will get polished off before they hit the table.
4 large potatoes
2/3 cup oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
1 and 1/2 tablespoons Haddar Salt
Peel and slice the potatoes into very thin slices (you can use a mandolin slicer).
Place potato slices in a large bowl with the oil and salt and toss.
Place a grill pan over the grill and grease with oil. Place potato slices in the pan in a single layer. Cook until browned, about five minutes on each side, making sure not to overcook.
