This meat pizza is surprisingly good! the meat sticks to the dough and it tastes great straight from the oven or reheated in a frying pan. That’s how the bottom gets crispy.
salt & pepper
pizza dough
marinara sauce
ground meat
onion+oil for sautéing
parsley flakes
garlic (fresh or powder)
cumin
cinnamon
Roll out your pizza dough and drizzle a drop of olive oil on it. Prebake it for a few minutes just so it’s a solid piece. Remove from the oven and cut it into squares and then puzzle it back close together on the tray.
Mix together the ground meat, cumin, cinnamon, garlic powder and parsley.
Sauté an onion until lightly golden.
Add in the meat mixture and mix while breaking it into pieces. When the meat is cooked, add in the marinara sauce and mix well.
Remove from the fire and spread evenly over the dough.
Pop the pizza into the oven and bake.
