Heimish Ramenshalmy Kugel

Parve Parve
Easy Easy
8-10 Servings
Allergens

Ingredients

Heimish Ramenshalmy Kugel

  • 1 heaping teaspoon black pepper

  • 4 eggs

Directions

1.

Pour boiling water over the noodles and cover so they soften. Drain when soft (around 10 minutes).

2.

In the meantime, combine oil and sugar in a saucepan on medium heat and stir till sugar dissolves and turns golden. Shut flame.

3.

Carefully add the noodles and seasoning. Mix well. Let cool.

4.

Add eggs and mix.

5.

Pour into a round pan and bake on 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one and a half hours. I used a deep 10-inch round pan, but you can make it smaller or in a few smaller pans. Adjust baking time accordingly if using smaller pans.

6.

Let cool before cutting.

I made it in a gachnon pot and it came out amazing. Guests were praising how beautiful and tasty it is

Can you substitute fine noodles for the ramen noodles. I live in Israel and can’t find ramen noodles. Thanks!

oh it says in the intro “ We are taking my famous noodle kugel hack and turning it into this heimish Yerushalmi kugel” so it sounds like this a twist on an original recipe.
