Diets Bring in some light + togetherness with this easy, pretty homemade dark chocolate Chanukah gelt recipe. A fun activity and treat for you and your kids to make, decorate, and eat together. May we all bring some light to the world and may we see the miracles of Chanukah together. This recipe yields 20 chocolate discs.
1 cup (dark) chocolate chips, such as Pure Food by Estee Chocolate Chunks
2 teaspoons neutral-flavored oil
decorations like edible gold glitter, dye-free Pure Food by Estee Sprinkles, nuts, etc.
Melt chocolate chips with oil, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Don’t skip or skimp on the oil or the chocolate will become hard and crack.
Pour directly into a silicone disc/cookie/ice cube mold or mini muffin tray. Decorate with edible gold glitter, dye free sprinkles, nuts, or whatever you like.
Refrigerate to set for one to two hours.
Pop them out and enjoy!
