I created this recipe a few years ago and it has been our go-to cookie recipe ever since. You could make them chocolate or vanilla, or mix and match, depending on what your mood is.
1 cup margarine
1 and 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package (2.8 oz) vanilla or chocolate pudding powder
2 and 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 and 1/2 cups white or dark chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cream the margarine and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, vanilla, and pudding powder. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch. Mix until just combined.
Add in the chocolate chips.
Bake for 12 minutes.
