These no-bake granola bars are loaded with deliciousness! They taste like a peanut chew in a healthier version, making them a perfect treat for your kids to take to school.
2 cups rice crispies cereal
1 and 1/2 cups oats
1/2 cup Haddar Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Gefen Honey
1/2 cup Gefen Peanut Butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup sprinkles
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
4 ounces white baking chocolate (optional)
In a large bowl, mix together the oats and Rice Krispies, and set aside.
In a saucepan or double boiler, melt the honey, peanut butter, and brown sugar.
Bring the mixture to a very slight boil, stirring frequently to dissolve the sugar.
Once dissolved, remove from heat and add the vanilla extract.
Pour the liquid mixture over the oats and Rice Krispies, and mix until everything is evenly coated.
Let it cool slightly, then add the sprinkles and chocolate chips. Mix well.
Press the mixture into a prepared 9 x 13-inch baking dish and allow it to sit in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the white baking chocolate.
Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top of the granola and let it dry.
Once set, cut into 15 bars.
