Diets This floral twist to a classic French 75 adds just a hint of perfume, barely there but enough to transport you to the lavender fields of Provence.
50 milliliters/2 ounces gin
30 milliliters/1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
20 milliliters/1/2 ounce Monin lavender syrup
ice cubes, to shake
well-chilled Champagne or Crémant, to top up
lemon twists, to garnish
Pour the gin, lemon juice and lavender syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake until frosted then strain the mixture into a small jug/pitcher and divide between two flutes.
Carefully top up with well-chilled Champagne or Crémant and garnish each with a lemon twist. Serve at once.
