2 leeks (only the white part)
ground beef or turkey (the amount must be 1/4 of the amount of the leeks)
2-3 eggs, depending on the amount
3 heaping tablespoons bread crumbs or matzo meal
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Slice leeks thinly and cook until just softened. Drain well, removing any excess liquid.
Combine with remaining ingredients.
Heat a generous amount of oil in a skillet. Form patties and fry on both sides. Drain on paper towel.

Hi can these be frozen? Or will they taste soggy and not good?
Hi Shaina,
Yes! To prevent sogginess, freeze on a sheet tray until frozen solid. Then move them to a zip lock.
