Start Cooking

Sauté

  1. Place onions and sugar in a six- to eight-quart pot. Cook over low heat until caramelized.

Add Fish

  1. Add fish and remaining ingredients.

  2. Cook for 40 minutes. Cool thoroughly and remove bay leaves and peppercorns.

Note:

Refrigerate for up to 10 days.
