Maple-Pecan Cookies

Ingredients

Cookies

  • 2 cups Glicks Flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2–3/4 cup chopped dry-roasted pecans

Icing

  • approximately 1 tablespoon hot water

Directions

Prepare the Cookies

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.

Place all cookie ingredients in a bowl and mix until just combined; do not overmix.

3.

Shape into cookies, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 10–12 minutes.

4.

Allow to cool.

To Decorate

1.

In a bowl, whisk icing ingredients together, starting with one teaspoon water and adding until you reach desired consistency.

2.

Place icing in a ziplock bag, cut a tiny hole in the corner, and drizzle icing onto the cookies.

Notes:

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
