Marinated Beets

Using canned beets makes this salad come together in seconds. The longer it sits in the fridge the better the flavors meld, making it perfect for a three-day Yom Tov.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 (15-ounce) cans Gefen Sliced Beets, juice reserved

  • 2 small onions, sliced

  • 4 tablespoons distilled vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2–3 bay leaves (optional)

For the Beets

Combine all ingredients.  Allow to marinate.
