Ground beef pizza
1 lb ground beef
medium onion, chopped
1/2 tsp minced garlic
Bbq sauce
flatbread pizza crust
garlic mayo
Arugula (optional)
caramelized onions (optional)
Sautee onions until translucent.
Add garlic and sautee until fragrant.
Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
Add your favorite bbq sauce, mix thoroughly.
Simmer, covered, for 20 min.
While meat is cooking, preheat oven to 375 and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prepare the crust: Lay on the baking tray. (NOTE: Could make 2 pizzas). Spread garlic mayo over the bottom of the crust(s).
Caramelize onions (if using).
Once meat is done, add a little more bbq sauce and mix.
Top crust(s) with meat and top with caramelized onions.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Garnish with Arugula (optional).
