Diets Zucchini spears mimic mozzarella sticks in this easy recipe that comes together quickly and is perfect for munching on a Motzaei Shabbos.
3 zucchini, cut in spears
1 teaspoon smoked garlic powder
1 teaspoon Gefen Onion Powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup Gefen Breadcrumbs
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.
Place zucchini spears on the baking sheet. Spray with oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In a bowl, toss zucchini in breadcrumbs. Return coated zucchini to the baking sheet and sprinkle with cheese.
Roast until bubbly and crispy, about 15–25 minutes.
