Diets I didn’t invent this recipe, obviously, but I did receive it, passed down as if from posterity, from when I was a kallah. It’s a classic and always a crowd-pleaser.
lettuce, washed and torn into bite-size pieces
purple cabbage
scallions, washed and sliced
Nish Nosh crackers
Beleaves Nish Nosh Dressing
Combine the lettuce, cabbage, and scallions in a large bowl.
Just before serving, pour in the dressing. Add crackers and toss gently.
