As in the title, this is an out of the ordinary soft and crunchy biscotti.

It’s a go-to favorite for anyone who tastes it.

I get requests to make it for every family simcha, and it’s a winner every time!!

It also presents beautifully, and tastes even more delicious!

It’s simple and quick and you don’t even need to use a mixer!

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 3/4 cup oil

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 and 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Prepare the Biscotti

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.

Line a nine x 13 pan with foil, and then a piece of parchment paper.

3.

Mix all the ingredients together. Pour batter into prepared nine x 13 pan.

4.

Bake for 30 minutes, until firm and starting to become golden.

5.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

6.

Remove from oven, lift foil out of the nine x 13 and onto a flat surface.

7.

Cut the biscotti into sticks – nine inches long, 3/4 inch wide.

8.

Place the sticks on the cookie sheet on their sides and bake for another five to six minutes. Let cool, and enjoy!

don’t know if this is rude, but the picture is either not the actual recipe, or time and time of trying by an expert. don’t know of that helps though…

Missing something? I made these and they came out not at all like the picture. Is it possible something is missing? The texture didn’t work either.

absolutely delicious! I add something different every time instead of cornflakes, and it comes out really great!
