Diets The paloma is a very popular drink in Mexico. It’s light and refreshing, and very simple to prepare. The splash of Aperol gives a bittersweet orange taste that complements the tart grapefruit soda.
ice, for serving
1/4 cup (1 and 1/2 ounces) Cava Tequila
1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce) Aperol
2 tablespoons (1 ounce) fresh lime juice or Tuscanini Lime Juice
1/4 cup (1 and 1/2 ounces) grapefruit soda
sprig of rosemary
thin slice of grapefruit
Add ice to a glass. Add tequila, Aperol, and lime juice and stir to combine.
Add grapefruit soda.
If you like, garnish with rosemary and a slice of grapefruit skewered with a decorative toothpick.
In the shaker, combine tequila, Aperol, and lime juice. Add a small amount of ice and shake quickly, just to chill the drink. Strain into a glass and top off with grapefruit soda. Add fresh ice.
