Diets This simple drink is so refreshing, it’s the perfect beverage for a hot summer afternoon.
Yield: 1/2 gallon
6 yellow-label Lipton tea bags
1/4 cup Gefen Honey
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cubed frozen mango, such as Beleaves
1/4 cup Beleaves Frozen Passion Fruit
8 cups boiling water
In a large pitcher, pour boiling water onto tea bags.
Let it steep for one to two hours, depending on how deep of a tea flavor you want.
Remove tea bags and add sugar and honey.
Mix well until fully dissolved. (You may need to add a bit of hot water to help it dissolve quicker.) Add fruit.
Place pitcher in fridge for two hours so taste of fruit gets absorbed by tea.
Strain tea.
Fill an empty ice cube tray with tea and freeze.
Once frozen, serve iced tea over frozen iced tea cubes.
