Pasta with Mushroom Cream Sauce

  • 8 ounces pasta, cooked according to package directions and drained (I used penne)

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1 and 1/2 cups milk

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 5 mushrooms, sliced

Directions

Prepare the Pasta and Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.

Add the flour, stirring evenly. When it starts to darken, add milk, heavy cream, and mushrooms. Continue cooking until it returns to a boil.

3.

Add in the cooked and drained pasta and combine all together.
