Diets An easy and flavorful pasta dinner with onions, tomatoes, and thyme.
1 package Tuscanini Fettucine
1 red onion, peeled and sliced
3 and 1/2 pounds (1 and 1/2 kilogram) colorful grape tomatoes, washed and halved
5 cloves garlic, sliced
1 sprig fresh thyme
1/4 cup Zeta Olive Oil
Black pepper
Cook pasta according to package directions.
While pasta cooks, steam onion and garlic in olive oil in a frying pan over a medium flame.
Once onion is soft, add tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook 12–15 minutes. Season with fresh thyme.
Drain pasta and add to tomatoes in pan. Pour into serving dish.
Optional: To enhance flavor, add grated parmesan cheese. For an extra-refreshing fragrance, add a bunch of washed basil leaves right before serving.
