Prepare the Hand Pies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Let pie crust thaw at room temperature. When pie crust is soft but still cold, turn out onto a piece of parchment paper. Roll thinly using a rolling pin. Use a round cookie cutter to cut into circles.

  3. Add peanut butter and jam to two piping bags. Pipe into center of circles. Seal closed in a half moon shape.

  4. Add hand pies to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with turbinado sugar. Bake for 12 minutes.
