Ingredients

Granola

  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats

  • 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped

  • 1/3 cup oil

  • 1/3 cup Gefen Maple Syrup and honey, divided equally

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 2 teaspoons Gefen Vanilla

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Streusel

Directions

1.

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit (135 degrees Celsius) and line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.

2.

Spread the granola mixture evenly over the prepared baking sheet.

3.

Bake for one hour, stirring every 20 minutes to ensure even toasting.

4.

While the granola is baking, prepare the streusel topping in a separate bowl.

5.

After the granola has baked for one hour, gently crumble the streusel mixture into clusters and sprinkle it evenly over the granola.

6.

Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 17-22 minutes, or until the streusel is crisp and golden brown.

7.

Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top without mixing.

8.

Allow the granola to cool completely on the baking sheet.

9.

Once cooled, store in an airtight container and enjoy!
