Diets These decadent pecan chocolate chip biscotti with icing are really nice to serve with ice cream or beside a glass of tea.
Yield: approximately 4 and 1/2 dozen biscotti
sugar
6 eggs
2 cups oil
2 cups sugar
4 teaspoons Gefen Vanilla Extract
6 and 1/2 cups Glicks Flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups chopped pecans
10 ounces Glicks Chocolate Chips
2 tablespoons hot water
chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix all the cookie ingredients in a large bowl, adding pecans and chocolate chips last.
Divide into six parts and form into logs. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake for 25 minutes, slice logs into cookies, 1/2-inch wide, and bake for another five to 10 minutes.
When cool, drizzle the glaze on top and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
