This is a perfect recipe for last-minute dinners, and it’s enjoyed by all.
2 onions, diced
oil, for sautéing
2 (12-ounce) packages pastrami
1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 store-bought pizza crusts (I used Trader Joe’s) or homemade
mayonnaise (optional)
honey mustard dressing and or mustard BBQ sauce
Heat one tablespoon oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté on a low flame until browned.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Slice the pastrami strips into bite-size pieces. Add to the pan. Add the seasonings and mix together.
Lay out the pizza crusts and spread mayonnaise over each (if using).
Layer the pastrami mixture over each pizza crust. Drizzle sauce over pizzas.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the crust is light brown.
