Diets Serve on a platter, along with some cut up fresh fruit, for an elegant dessert.
1 (3.5-ounce) 72% cocoa chocolate bar, such as Tuscanini
2 teaspoons margarine OR 2 tablespoons Gefen Whipped Topping
fresh fruit, for serving
macaroons, for serving
Melt chocolate in a double boiler (a bowl sitting on top of a pot of boiling water). Add margarine OR whipping cream and stir into chocolate until melted.
When ready to serve, cut up fresh fruit and some macaroons, if desired. Arrange on a plate and pour some chocolate fondue into small bowls, or even glass tea light holders, to create a personal fondue. Serve with toothpicks.
