This cholent kugel is like a hybrid of kishke and kugel. This gluten-free kugel cooks beautifully in the cholent and will come out perfect by Shabbos morning. This is a really yummy addition to your Shabbos seuda!
2 cooked potatoes, mashed
3 carrots, grated
1 onion, minced
4 tablespoons Gefen Potato Starch
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper, optional
Knead all ingredients into a stiff loaf.
Adjust starch and liquid accordingly and wrap in foil.
Drop into boiling cholent. Cook together until cholent is ready to serve.
