The classic dessert bar gets a Passover makeover! Packed with chocolate, nuts, and caramel, these squares are an indulgent treat.

Prepare the Bars

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).

  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light yellow. Gradually add in oil and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder and potato starch until combined.

  4. Gently mix the dry mixture into the egg mixture (don’t over-mix).

  5. Pour batter into a lightly greased 9- x 13-inch pan. Gently spread caramel sauce on top of chocolate batter and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.

  6. Bake for 30–40 minutes. Don’t overbake! You want a chewy, fudgy bar. Let cool and cut into squares.
