Diets The Starbucks Pink Drink is also known as the pink ombre drink, and as soon as you make it you will see why. The combination of tea and coconut milk mingled with fresh strawberries makes an amazing soft pink color that is so inviting. Starbucks uses a strawberry acai refresher mix, which is not kosher or available to the public. But the mix’s ingredients include a passionfruit-type tea and white grape juice, making it totally doable to recreate the look and taste of this drink at home.
1 and 1/4 cups sliced strawberries, divided
ice cubes, to fill the pitcher
2 cups Iced Passion tea (such as Tazo, see note)
1 cup Kedem White Grape Juice
1 cup water, sparkling water, or strawberry-flavored sparkling water
1 cup Gefen Coconut Milk, chilled
Add 1/2 cup strawberries to a pitcher and gently mash until some juice releases and you have smaller pieces of berries. Add ice to fill the pitcher. Add Iced Passion tea, grape juice, and water. Stir.
Add chilled coconut milk and remaining 3/4 cup strawberries, and watch the color swirl to ombre. Serve immediately.
