Pizza is the ultimate crowd pleaser and the best option for lunchtime! These croissant-shaped pizzas are cheesy, flaky, delicious, and so fun to make!
Gefen Puff Pastry (either rectangle or square sheets)
your favorite cheese (squares or shredded)
add-ins, if desired, such as roasted peppers, mushrooms, or broccoli
1 egg, beaten, for egg wash
roasted sesame seeds
black sesame seeds
dried minced onion
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cut tall triangles from puff pastry (square or rectangle works fine). Spread about a spoonful of marinara sauce on the wide end of the triangle, not too close to the edges. Cover with cheese.
Lift aside the rest of the puff pastry. Roll up the pastry from the wide end to the pointy end. Curve both ends slightly to create a croissant shape. Repeat with remaining dough.
Lay the croissants on a baking sheet lined with Gefen Parchment Paper, leaving lots of space between them. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle over sesame seeds and dried minced onion (or your favorite toppings).
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
