The recipe is made up of potatoes and meat.
1 pound lean or regular ground beef
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups water
1/4 cup oil
4 bay leaves
5 potatoes peeled and cut into wedges
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk
In a medium pot, mix the meat, water, oil and pepper.
Add the bay leaves.
Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer until the liquid is gone. Remove the bay leaves.
Let meat cool slightly, and put in a food processor. Blend till smooth.
Form meat into small patties.
Set aside till mashed potatoes are done.
Put the potatoes in a pot, add water to cover the potatoes. Add salt and bring to a boil.
Cook until potatoes are tender and cooked through.
Drain them and set aside to cool.
Mash the potatoes with an egg yolk.
Take enough cooled mashed potatoes to fill the palm of your hand, flatten it and put a meat disc on top.
Fold the mashed potato over the meat to form a potato round.
Repeat with remaining mashed potatoes and meat.
Beat an egg in a bowl.
Dip the rounds in the egg mixture, fry them in oil till it has a golden color,
