Another family favorite, this pretzel-coated chicken is served with an easy hot honey dipping sauce. It will soon be your family favorite too!
2 cups pretzels
1 teaspoon Pereg Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 and 1/2 pounds chicken cutlets, cut into strips
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon Pereg Black Pepper
2 eggs
1/2 cup Gefen Honey
1 teaspoon hot sauce (I used Frank’s)
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a baking sheet with oil spray.
In a food processor fitted with the S-blade, crush pretzels.
Place in a bowl and add garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Mix.
Season chicken strips with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, beat eggs.
Dip chicken strips in egg and then in pretzel crumbs. Place on baking sheet.
Spray chicken strips with oil spray.
Bake for 12 minutes. Flip chicken, spray with more oil spray, and bake for another eight to 12 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix honey and hot sauce. Serve alongside chicken.
