Protein is great for your health; it keeps you full and satisfied. I always have these homemade protein-packed cheese snacks on hand. They’re like cheesecake, but better! No crust means fewer calories, and they’re easy to make. The short bake time and low oven temperature are the keys to its creamy texture. Once baked, these can also be used as a great cheese topping for cinnamon buns or carrot cake. If sugar-free isn’t your thing, you can use an equal amount of sugar instead of the maple syrup in this recipe. The possibilities are endless!
Yields 1 8-inch (20-centimeter) pan or 8 individual cheese snacks
16 ounces (450 grams) farmer cheese
7 ounces (200 grams) plain Greek yogurt
3 eggs
1/2 cup Gefen Maple Syrup
2 teaspoons Gefen Pure Vanilla Extract (optional)
8 ounces (225 grams) farmer cheese
8 ounces (225 grams) cream cheese
7 ounces (200 grams) plain Greek yogurt
3 eggs
1/2 cup Gefen Maple Syrup
2 teaspoons Gefen Pure Vanilla Extract (optional)
1/4 cup Gefen Cocoa Powder
1/4 cup Gefen Maple Syrup
2–4 tablespoons hot water (depends how runny you like it)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius).
Line an eight-inch (20-centimeter) pan with Gefen Parchment Paper, or spray lightly with cooking spray. If making individual cheese snacks, use eight muffin cups.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
If making the marble, mix cocoa and maple syrup in a small bowl. Add hot water and mix carefully. Pour it into a ziplock bag or piping bag. Snip off the corner.
Pipe the chocolate mixture onto the cheese batter. Mix it a bit to marble or make any design you like.
Bake for 35 minutes for one large cheese snack or 15 minutes for mini cheese snacks.
Leave the oven door closed until it cools off.
Refrigerate overnight.

Does this freeze well?
These were so easy to make and really taste like the store bought cheese snacks! They are really yummy and someone even commented it was better then my regular cheesecake! One question would it work to blend it to make it smoother?
We haven’t tested it but I don’t see why not.
The creamy recipe is super easy to make, and is delicious! Way better option than store bought cheese snack
Agreed! We’re happy to loved it!
