I made up this recipe when I was looking for a tasty, easy, and mess-free (if that’s possible!) fried schnitzel. Try it, it works! This is the easiest it gets, and it’s so delicious.
1 pound (450 grams) chicken cutlets, cut into strips and rinsed
1 and 1/2–2 cups Pereg Cornflake Crumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Gefen Paprika
pinch cumin
pinch cayenne pepper (or more if you like it spicy!)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Gefen Parsley Flakes
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Place cornflake crumbs and spices in a large ziplock bag and mix. Add rinsed cutlets (don’t dry them).
Shake the bag around until the cutlets are coated. Fry.
