Diets The beauty of quinoa is that it has little flavor of its own and takes on the flavor of the ingredients served with it, making it a perfect vehicle for the incredibly flavorful duck Merguez sausage. If you prefer, you can use rice or orzo instead of quinoa.
1 and 1/2 cups cooked quinoa
1 onion, diced
2–3 cloves garlic, minced or 2-3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 teaspoon salt
oil, for sautéing
1 7-ounce (200-gram) package Pelleh Duck Merguez Sausage, diced
Sauté onion, garlic, and salt in oil for about 10 minutes.
Add diced duck sausage and cook for an additional 20 minutes, until soft and fragrant.
Add cooked quinoa to the pot and stir. Remove from heat and serve!
