Roasted Spiced Chickpeas (“High-Protein Popcorn”)

Ingredients

Roasted Spiced Chickpeas

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.

Toss chickpeas with oil and spices.

3.

Spread them out in a single layer on a Gefen Parchment Paper-lined cookie sheet.

4.

Bake for 30 minutes or until chickpeas are as crispy as desired.

Notes:

You can go lighter on the oil if you wish. The chickpeas will have less of a “fried” consistency and more of a baked one. But they will still be delicious. Even spraying generously with an oil spray will have great results.
