Giant flavorful burgers with all the fixings! Orly and her granddaughters grill these up with HASC campers in this special edition of Savta and Me!
2 pounds extra-lean ground beef
1 medium onion, minced
1 medium tomato, minced
4 parsley stems, thinly chopped
1 teaspoon Haddar Himalayan Pink Salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon allspice or nutmeg
buns
lettuce
tomato slices
pickles
red onion rings
sliced avocado
Mix all burger ingredients thoroughly.
Optional: Grill a small piece to test seasoning and adjust if needed.
Shape into thick round patties and place on a baking sheet.
Preheat grill. Grill burgers on medium flame for three to five minutes until seared and sizzling. Flip and grill for three more minutes. Check for doneness: clear juice should come out when poked.
Serve on buns with toppings of choice.

Skipped the tumeric and allspice, but these burgers were moist and delicious! I always put breadcrumbs and eggs in my burger mix, and couldn’t imagine these would be good without it, but these were amazing!!
