Start Cooking

Prepare the Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).

  2. In a large bowl, combine ingredients for dough and knead by hand until everything is incorporated.

  3. Flour your work surface and the dough and roll out to a quarter-inch thickness.

  4. Form cookies using cookie cutters, then place on a baking sheet lined with Gefen Easy Baking Parchment Paper.

  5. Combine brown sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle mixture over the cookies.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes until cookies are golden.

  7. Cool on a rack.

    Amazing!! It came out to a really good texture and easy to use! I was surprised since there is no margarine! And of course really yummy

    Crumbly dough

    Is it possible there is a typo in this recipe? It seems like a lot of flour to very little fat. My dough came out crumbly. I found a similar recipe in Dining In with 4 cups of flour.
