Shabbos Challah

Ingredients

Shabbos Challah

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 tablespoons dry yeast

  • 2 tablespoons salt

  • 4.5 cups warm water

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 kg plus 1 cup flour

Directions

Prepare the Shabbos Challah

1.

Pour all ingredients into the Bosch and mix on high for 5 to 10 minutes.

2.

Grease a large metal bowl. Put the dough into the bowl. Let rise for 1 hr by covering the bowl with saran wrap and a dish towel on top.

3.

Take challah and braid it however you’d like. I like to do 6 strands but for YT I like to do diff shapes.

4.

Bake on 350 or a drop lower for however long you like your challos. Enjoy!
