This dinner is packed with protein and super kid-friendly, covering all the bases and coming through in a pinch.

Main ingredients

Start Cooking

Prepare the Meat Sauce

  1. Combine ground beef, onion and celery in large skillet, sauté for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

  3. Cook, covered, over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

To Serve

  1. Cut pitas in half. Fill each with sloppy joe meat sauce.

    this is great!i make it for tacos! It does not taste like vomit unless you use rotten meat.

    Texturally offensive

    The texture resembles vomit, and the taste is worse than the texture. That is the most polite statement that can be made about this recipe.
