Ingredients

Snickers Muddy Buddies

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

  • 1 and 1/2 cups powdered icing sugar, such as Gefen

Directions

1.

Measure cereal and salted peanuts into a large bowl and set aside.

2.

In a large microwavable bowl, place the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Heat in the microwave for one minute, then stir well.

3.

Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in the caramel sauce until completely incorporated.

4.

Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.

5.

Place powdered sugar in a large resealable food-storage plastic bag.

6.

Add the chocolate-covered cereal to the bag, and then seal. Shake the bag until the cereal appears well coated by the powdered sugar, turning over frequently.

7.

Spread on waxed paper or a baking sheet and allow the melted chocolate to set before storing or serving.

Notes:

Can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week or can be frozen for up to two months.
