Diets This treat is a cross between a chocolate chip cookie and a marble cookie. The melted chocolate chips swirled through the dough create a pretty marbled appearance and a deliciously rich taste.
Yield: 25-30 cookies
2 sticks (1 cup) margarine, room temperature
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
2 eggs
3 cups Beleaves Flour, plus 1/4 cup as needed
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup Glicks Chocolate Chips
1 and 1/2 teaspoons oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper and set aside.
In a bowl, cream together the margarine, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add the vanilla sugar and the eggs and beat to combine.
Add three cups flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat to form a soft dough. If the dough is sticky, add 1/4 cup flour.
In the microwave or in a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips with the oil, stirring together until smooth. Immediately swirl the melted chocolate into the dough using a knife or spoon.
Use a cookie scoop to form balls (or roll by hand) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes.
