Spinach Burger Delight

I add spinach to my burgers to give my kids their veggie serving. It also gives it a juicier texture!   Yields: About 12 burgers

Ingredients

Spinach Burger Delight

  • 1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef

  • 1/2 cup Gefen Bread Crumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 1 onion

  • 1 cup spinach

  • chicken seasoning

  • pinch of salt

  • pinch of pepper

  • 3 cloves fresh garlic

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil, for frying

Directions

Prepare the Spinach Burger Delight

In a large bowl, add ground beef.

In a food processor, mix spinach, onion, and garlic. Add to the ground beef and mix.

Add egg, bread crumbs, chicken seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix.

Shape your burgers. Add oil to a frying pan and fry on each side for four minutes on medium flame. (These turn out medium rare. For well cooked burgers, I place in the oven after frying to bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for an additional 10 minutes.)
