My parents are as old-school and traditional as it gets when it comes to food. I was testing this recipe when they were here, and I gave some of this salad to my father without telling him what was in it. He liked it! I rest my case.
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
fresh mozzarella, diced
1/4 watermelon, diced
2 Persian cucumbers, sliced
6–8 leaves fresh basil, sliced thinly
3 teaspoons Tuscanini Olive Oil
2 teaspoons Tuscanini Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place tomatoes, cheese, watermelon, cucumbers, and basil in a bowl or serving dish.
Drizzle olive oil, vinegar, and salt over salad and toss gently.
