Diets A special thank you to my sister who sent this recipe my way. She claimed it was a real winner dinner, and it is! The kids love it, as placing all the vegetables on top of the chicken instead of below it yields really soft results.
3 tablespoons neutral-flavored oil
1 teaspoon Pereg Paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4–6 chicken bottoms
2 zucchini, diced
2 yellow squash, diced
2 carrots, diced
1 onion, diced
3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a small bowl, combine oil, paprika, garlic powder, half a teaspoon salt, and pepper to form a paste. (Add any other spices of your liking, such as oregano, basil, parsley, or rosemary. Whatever your family prefers.)
Brush chicken with the spice paste and place in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, toss zucchini, yellow squash, carrots, and onions with garlic. Spread over chicken and sprinkle with salt to taste.
Bake covered for two hours.

Can frozen butternut squash cubes be used instead of any of the above mentioned squashes?
Yes, it may just need more cook time.
