This recipe is one of my oldies but goodies. It comes in handy for so many things, from a healthy and delicious snack to a great addition to mishloach manos (I know, we’re not up to that quite yet!). Careful, they are addictive!
Yield: 6 cups
1 egg white
6 cups assorted nuts
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons Gefen Salt
1 teaspoon Pereg Cumin
1 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a cookie sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.
Whisk an egg white by hand or in a mixer. Add nuts and toss to coat. Add spices.
Spread out the mixture on the cookie sheet.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until egg white is absorbed and the nuts are dry.
