Sweet Shallot and Leek Dip

Ingredients

Sweet Shallot and Leek Dip

  • 4-6 shallots, sliced thinly

  • 1 leek, sliced lengthwise

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • dash of pepper

  • drizzle of honey

Directions

1.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté shallots, leeks and sugar until golden and caramelized.

2.

Allow mixture to cool slightly. Transfer into a bowl and add remaining ingredients: mayo, salt, pepper and honey.

3.

Blend with an immersion blender or in a food processor until mostly smooth, or to desired consistency.
