Diets These elegant cookies are super simple to make, and give a beautiful and elegant look to your table setting. Change the flower color or add coloring to the icing to match your theme.
1 cup sugar
2 sticks margarine
2 eggs
2 teaspoons Gefen Vanilla Extract
3 cups Beleaves Flour
1/2 tablespoon oil
1 and 1/2 tablespoons hot water
fresh or dried flowers
ribbon of your choice
Mix all the ingredients until a smooth dough forms. This can be done by hand.
Refrigerate for one hour. Roll out the dough on baking paper and cut into your desired shapes using any cookie cutter you like. Use a mini cutter for the inside of the cookie to match your theme or name.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the confection sugar, water and oil until the texture is smooth and stiff.
Spread the icing on the cookies. Add the flowers and ribbon bow while wet. Allow to dry completely.
