This chicken preparation is full of great taste in every bite. The cooking method is slighly different but this way the chicken is enveloped in flavor on all sides. Whats more: 1-2-3 and it’s in the oven.
6 chicken thighs
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, sliced, or to taste
5 tablespoons Gefen Tomato Paste
1 and 1/2 tablespoons Gefen Honey
2 teaspoons taco seasoning (see tip)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place chicken thighs on top and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Place in oven. Bake for an hour and a half covered and half an hour uncovered.
Clean chicken and pat dry. Place onion and garlic in the bottom of a 9- x 13-inch (20- x 30-centimeter) baking pan. Spread the tomato paste on the onions. Drizzle with honey.
As soon as you remove from the oven, turn chicken pieces over – skin side down – and let sit for a few minutes before serving. I warm it up this way as well. Serve over rice, bulgur, or farfel.

I love this recipe used it many times to rave reviews. #2 and 3 in the recipe above are reversed. Kinda obvious but just in case someone was confused.
Can you use chicken cutlets and if so, how long should it bake in the oven? Can you use chicken cutlets and if so, how long bake in the oven?
If you’re using chicken cutlets – I would start cook time at 10-12 minutes and check it after. Shouldn’t require more than 15 minutes…
