Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • juice of 1 lemon

  • fresh parsley

Directions

Prepare the Tahini Salmon

1.

Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until golden and caramelized, about 15 minutes.

2.

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place salmon in a baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and top with caramelized onions. Bake for 10–12 minutes.

3.

Remove salmon from oven, top with tahini, and squeeze lemon on top. Bake for an additional five minutes. Top with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes:

Note that baking times will differ depending on the size of your salmon pieces. Bake the salmon three-quarters of the way through before adding the tahini. If you add it early, it will dry out.
